cwnl: underthemountainbunker: There is no honor in hurting unarmed people.  Occupy because when shit like this happens to ANYONE in this country (including Iraqi veterans that served tours) for peaceful assembly? You are just as much of a target for police brutality unless of course you have no intentions of speaking out against anything unjust. In which case, carry on with yourselves. But bear in mind, that if a cop can do that to the soldiers who swear to protect its citizens, just imagine what they are capable of doing to you, the average citizen. Those that stay silent to oppression any where in the world, be it in the Middle East, child labor in poor countries, or oppression right here in our country, are merely prolonging injustice with their silence. This is not going to conveniently die down as some may wish it to, this is going to continue and more citizens are going to be hurt by the actions of PDs all over our country. Men that are half paid by our taxes, and some funded by the rich, completely disregarding their sworn words to protect the people. Now what are they protecting? The well being of big business. Fucking disgusting doesn’t even cut it, this should not be the norm for human behavior. I know we are more than this.
